For the first time in Tregothnan’s history, we were honoured to be selected as one of their chosen charities for the second time. It was a poignant weekend, as it was almost exactly 40 years since St Petrocs had first been founded in Cornwall, supporting thousands of people across the decades.

Across the weekend, our team of volunteers and staff were able to connect with Tregothnan’s visitors, our supporters as well as residents of St Petrocs who had come to enjoy the tropical gardens. As well as those who were able to enjoy the gardens, there was also an incredible array of cakes being sold to raise funds for our work, kindly baked and decorated by generous volunteers.

We want to share a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this weekend possible, and who donated their time and funds to help make a difference to so many lives across Cornwall. It was fantastic to share this opportunity with local charity, Hidden Help, who were supported with £15,000 from the weekend, and who we are proud to work alongside in so many ways.

"It has been a privilege to be supported by Tregothnan during our 40th anniversary year. We extend our sincere thanks to Lord Falmouth and the Tregothnan team for making this event possible, and to everyone who joined us to tour the gardens and show their support.

The funds raised will be used with great care to strengthen our services for people experiencing homelessness, a challenge that remains all too prevalent across Cornwall. This support will enable us to make a meaningful difference to those we work with, helping to change lives and create more positive futures."

-Henry Meacock, Chief Executive of St Petrocs

Thank you to Lord Falmouth, and the Tregothnan Team for their incredible support, which will have a significant impact on our services.
