Support for Women Women's experiences of homelessness can look different to men’s, and make you particularly vulnerable. If you are vulnerably housed, sleeping in a vehicle or at risk of sleeping rough please get in touch with our services. Our resource centres have GP services, supplies for periods, clothes, showers and staff to share advice and guidance on your situation. Our services are confidential, and we will not tell anyone that you attended our resource centre or used our services. Our outreach team are also available to arrange to meet you in a location where you feel safe. Get help >> Accessing a women’s space at our resource centre In our Breadline Resource centre, we have established our Women's Space, which is a safe space for women experiencing homelessness to spend time together whilst engaging in activities once a week. These activities range from baking, painting, self-defence lessons and visiting local cafes. If you are a woman experiencing homelessness, drop into our Breadline Centre where our team can support you to access this group. Mixed Accommodation Our houses are mixed gender, with shared communal spaces. We do have a limited number of rooms with ensuite bathrooms, should they be needed, and we are pet-friendly. Our team will support you in your transition into accommodation, and offer guidance where needed. "Women have said they have hope again now and there are spaces that reflect their needs and are not a generic one size fits all." Faye Hookins, Homelessness Support Coordinator.
