We’ve been recognised by the Duchy Health Charity At the Duchy Health Charity Conference Awards, we were awarded the ‘Working Well’ award for our workforce initiatives. On Tuesday, 14th September, Millie Ewing and Rebecca Jinks represented St Petrocs at the Duchy Health Charity Conference. The day was incredibly valuable to connect with other organisations who prioritise their workforce, and share ideas on how we can support people to improve wellbeing, and make St Petrocs the best it can be. The working well award recognises organisations with outstanding initiatives to promote employee health and wellbeing. At St Petrocs, we believe our greatest strength is our people. Some of the highlights of our people-focused work include: A trial of clinical supervision for our frontline staff to support mental and emotional wellbeing An employee Assistance Programme to provide access to healthcare, mental health support and a helpline for financial and legal support. Engagement with the community through monthly walks, beach cleans and various sporting activities after work Internal positive news channels to share good news and achievements in what can be a challenging, pressured sector. We are so pleased to have created a workplace where compassion, resilience, and care for each other is as strong as our care for the people we serve. This culture means we can sustain the work needed to help end homelessness in Cornwall. Manage Cookie Preferences
