We are delighted to share a brand new episode of ‘No Place to Call Home: A St Petrocs Podcast’, when we brought our residents back together to share their voices on the experiences of homelessness in Cornwall.

The concept has been entirely led by residents, from the naming of the podcast to the questions asked in each episode. In this episode, three St Petrocs residents explore the realities of sleeping outside whilst interviewing Sofia Roder, who worked in our Outreach Team.

The podcast delves into St Petrocs’ work supporting people who are in crisis, our residents’ personal experiences which forced them into homelessness and how different people can be affected by the experience.

“It was a fantastic experience to speak with residents on the podcast. At St Petrocs, we believe it is so important to empower people to share their experiences in their own words. We hope that people will listen to this podcast and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges that people in our community are facing.”

-Sofia Roder, Client Journey Manager

Speaking with Sofia with sharing her knowledge was such a great experience and to share such important figures of the realities of homelessness and other issues. Being able to share such important issues and stories and being a part of something so important felt very special”

-Natalie, ex-resident of St Petrocs

The podcast aims to raise awareness of the realities of homelessness, break stigmas and help people to understand how St Petrocs supports people across Cornwall.

This podcast is available to listen to on Spotify, Youtube and other podcast providers.
